Imad Bazzi is the Executive Director of CyberAct, an NGO specializing in online advocacy using new media tools. CyberACT supports internet activists and their human rights and democracy campaigns across the Middle East and North Africa. Imad appears on the Sound of Freedom Internet Radio show Blogger Mail, which covers subjects such as civil rights and democracy in Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, and the United States. Previously, he was a New Generation of Advocates program fellow at Freedom House, where he worked to empower civil society in the Middle East and North Africa. He also worked as a communications and outreach officer with Nahwa Al Muwatinya in Lebanon and as a project manager at the Sustainable Democracy Center.
